"The School of Economics"

The first Internet project of ISE was the electronic full-text library "The Gallery of Economists", containing biographies, portraits and original works of famous economists and critical papers devoted to them.

This website is the only Russian-language electronic storage of economic classics. It was developed as a resource to assist in the teaching of Economics and Economic Thought. Similar English-language services are well-known: History of Economic Thought Archive at McMaster University, History of Economic Thought Website at New School University and some others.

Work on enlarging and improving the "Gallery" continues. This project receives no outside support - its existence depends upon the Institute's own funds.
